Benefit Description
Medical All employees may enroll in the Cigna Captive PPO. In California and Washington, you also have the option of the Kaiser HMO. These plans are jointly funded by CHC and employees.
Dental We offer comprehensive dental coverage, including up to four cleanings per year through the Principal Dental PPO. This benefit is shared between CHC and employees.
Vision All eligible employees receive full vision coverage. Copays are $20 for annual exams and standard lenses, plus a $150 allowance toward frames or contacts annually. This benefit is jointly funded.
Life & AD&D Insurance Eligible employees are automatically covered for $50,000 in Group Term Life & AD&D, fully paid by CHC. You may also purchase additional coverage for yourself or dependents.
Supplemental Insurance Optional, employee-paid plans include accident coverage, medical bridge, cancer protection, and critical illness insurance.
Employee Assistance Program CHC offers TELUS to employees and household members—a confidential, employer-paid service addressing marriage/family support, emotional health, substance abuse, and other personal concerns.
Pre-Paid Legal Available via payroll deduction, this employee-paid benefit provides access to prepaid legal services.
Pet Insurance We believe pets are family too, so we offer pet insurance options (Pet Protection and Pet Protection + Wellness). This is an employee-paid benefit.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Use pre-tax contributions from your paycheck to cover eligible out-of-pocket healthcare and dependent care costs. Employee-paid.
Tuition Reimbursement CHC reimburses up to $1,000 per year for required course fees in undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate studies—available for all successfully passed courses.
Employee Referral If you refer a candidate who is hired and stays for six months, you may receive a referral bonus ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 (depending on the role).
Paid Time Off (PTO) PTO accrual is based on years of service:

• 1 year → 3.38 hrs/pay period (≈ 11 days)

• 2–4 years → 4.92 hrs/pay period (≈ 16 days)

• 5–9 years → 6.46 hrs/pay period (≈ 21 days)

• 10+ years → 8.00 hrs/pay period (≈ 26 days)

PTO Cash Out You may cash out up to the number of PTO hours used in the current year (maximum 120 hours), so long as you retain at least 40 hours for unexpected leave.
Hybrid Work Option For eligible roles, CHC supports hybrid schedules (a mix of remote and in-office work) to help balance professional, family, and personal needs.
Sick Days Employees receive 5 sick days per year to use during illness or health needs.
Holidays CHC observes 11 paid holidays:

401(k) We provide both traditional and Roth 401(k) plans as a means to support long-term retirement savings.
Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) CHC is entirely employee-owned through an ESOP that is fully funded by CHC. Employees are not required to contribute—the primary investment is CHC stock.
