FlowTherm Systems, a division of CHC, is looking for a Director to lead it’s innovative team.

The FlowTherm Systems Director is responsible for the leadership, management of senior staff, operations of business activities including formulating overall strategy, establishing policies, and allocating budget resources for FlowTherm Systems. This position is responsible for the oversite of project management, project engineering, manufacturing, purchasing including inventory control, product development, customer service and marketing. The Director is responsible for analyzing existing operations and creating improvement plans, meeting with other division heads and senior management and meet with customers and clients.

 

Executive Team Member:

Responsible for managing the Company’s core business operations by 1: providing strategic and operational leadership to the company.  Actively participate in setting goals, develop a strategy, and help execute them effectively.  2: provide organizational and cultural DNA for the company.

 

Director of Flowtherm:

  • Collaborate with the Sales, Business Development, and Operations Departments on the possible requirements and procedures
  • Work with our national sales manager and customers to expand into other territories
  • Organize and manage projects, making detailed plans that work towards the fulfillment of a set objective
  • Examine technology, organizational resources, and the demands of the market to plan for projects
  • Manage the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment, making sure they are executed by the personnel responsible
  • Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate employees
  • Supervise the development and maintenance of staff abilities and suitability in the organization
  • Set goals of the department with the help and collaboration of the Flowtherm Managers
  • Consult or negotiate with customers to determine the scope and resources required for a project
  • Negotiate with customers to solve problems as required on difficult projects.\

  • Perform administrative functions such as evaluating and writing reports, approving expenditures of the division and of direct reports
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
  • Direct the employee assessment process
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
  • Other duties as assigned

Required/Education:

  • Proven experience as a Director or similar executive role
  • BS/BA in Business or relevant field (An MBA is preferred for this position)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, such as Outlook, Excel etc.
  • Experience with Financial ERP and Customer CRM software

Preferred:

  • Experience with Salesforce, and Financial Force
  • MBA
  • Six Sigma training
  • Kaizen process training
