What You’re In For:

As a FlowTherm Controls Manager, you will be an integral part of the FlowTherm Systems Division.  Your role will see you review electrical drawings, mechanical equipment submittals, and quality control of pre-manufactured HVAC equipment prior to shipping.

What We Expect From You:

Technical:

  • Conduct an initial audit on controls submittals based on the engineering sequence of operations and equipment.
  • Oversee control and electrical wiring conducted by the Flowtherm Shop floor to ensure correctness
  • Layout conduit and electrical paths for custom manufactured skids and provide oversight of wire size and landing points based on vendor wiring diagrams and customer needs to the factory floor.
  • Review final vendor details and submittals for control panels based on a sequence of operation and equipment requirements.
  • Review basic CAD drawings for code clearances of electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Assist Engineering when required with mechanical equipment electrical requirements along with a request for quotation to outside vendors.
  • Work with Flowtherm control panel manufacturers to update and correct wiring diagrams and sequences based on mechanical requirements and the function of each job.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment based on the current shop and 5S standards.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge Must Haves:

  • High School Diploma or GED (though an Associate Degree or comparable Institutional Educational/Vocational Training is preferred).
  • 3 years of relevant electrical or controls experience.
