What You’re In For:
As an Associate Mechanical Engineer for the FlowTherm Division, who you will be nexus between sales, business development and fabrication teams, providing product engineering information and technical assistance. This position also participates in standard product development, ensuring code compliance and exceeding customer design expectations.
What We Expect From You:
Technical:
- Produce FlowTherm documentation in compliance with construction parameters and sales quotations.
- Support FlowTherm Sales and Business Development efforts with application engineering and documentation needs.
- Review consultant engineering construction plans and schematics.
- Perform equipment take-offs required for selecting and pricing equipment.
- Assist engineers, sales, and business development in the design of fluid handling and heat transfer systems.
- Coordinate with FlowTherm CAD department to develop the project and standard product drawings.
- Develop control schemes and sequence of operations (SOO) for equipment packages.
- Visit job sites as required to determine conditions and provide advice for future or retrofit equipment packages.
Administrative:
- Document control of all FlowTherm job submittals.
- Maintain various compliance and regulatory certifications (e.g. NSF, UL, etc.)
- Assist in developing marketing literature.
Education, Experience, and Knowledge Must Haves:
- Graduate Engineering Degree, BSME
- Minimum of 3 years experience in mechanical/HVAC engineering.
- Full understanding of heating and cooling heat transfer load calculations. Understanding of piping systems and friction loss calculations for the HVAC and plumbing industries
License or certifications required:
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- CAD Proficiency certificate – AutoCAD and Revit

Salary Range:
$95,000 to $105,000
